The basic information I would need to cover the death of President Robert Caret would be first of all to know some of his achievements. Know what he has done in his life talk to people like his wife, children, siblings...
I would also want to know about his family, who is still living, who he was close to, his children, wife, grandchildren names and where they are located in the world. I would also want to find out when the funeral will be and where it will be held, as well as the viewing.
I would also want to know if he was taken to the hospital by ambulance after he had the heart attack, who called them, what hospital he died at or did he die on campus.
I am likely to face a very distraught family who is trying to get over their loss and not so much talk about it. I may have trouble getting information from them, or understanding them if they are upset and crying. I would simple handle this situation by being as sympathetic as possible, as well as understanding.
Other than posting the story online and having it published in the Towerlight I would like there to be a picture posted of President Caret. Other than that I think the story posted in the paper and online will be plenty.
